Dental Implants
At Dantaa Dental Clinic
Dental implants are an effective and long -lasting solution to replace the missing teeth. At Danta Dental Clinic, we offer some latest techniques in dental transplant treatment that will help restore your smile, increase chewing and increase self -confidence. Dental implants act as real teeth and are specially designed to look and feel like your natural teeth.

What Are Dental Implants ?
A dental transplant is a small artificial tooth root made of titanium or zirconia. The transplant is kept in the jaw during surgery. After some time, once healed, it will support a crown that looks like a natural tooth. The implants are also quite strong and durable, and they can blend in with your other teeth very naturally
How Do Dental Implants Work?
After the implant is placed into your jaw, osseointegration occurs. This is the process of bone growing around the implant effectively holding it in place. After a few months of healing, a small extension called an abutment is placed which connects to the crown. The final product is an artificial complete tooth (crown) that functions like any other natural tooth.

Stages of the Dental Implant
ProcessInitially, we conduct a consult, which involves assessing your jawbone using X-rays or 3D imaging. We also assess your general health. If you have a tooth with significant damage, it will need to be extracted. If your jawbone is weak or too thin, bone grafting may be necessary in advance of implant placement. The implant is placed in your jaw under anesthesia. Following that, you will undergo a healing period. The bone will integrate with the implant over a period of about 3 to 6 months. After the healing time, we place the abutment and then seat a custom-made crown

Types of Dental Implants
There are two primary types of transplants: an endosteal implant that is placed directly in the jaw and a subperiosteal implant, placed under the gums, but above the jaw. A subperiosteal implant is often referred to when sufficient leg height does not occur.

Different Ways to Place Implants
At Dantaa Dental Clinic, we have various implant techniques that we use. Conventional implants are placed in two phases, where first we place the implant, and then after healing, we place the crown. For qualifying patients, we can also do “teeth in a day,” in which the crown is placed on the same day as the implant. Mini dental implants are for those with narrow jaws or to stabilize dentures. Implants can be placed for full mouth options, for example, All-On-4 or All-On-6 which consist of either 4 or 6 implants supporting a full set of teeth
Risks and Complications
Although implants are quite safe, there are some risks. For example, an infection, nerve damage or bone may be an unsuccessful implant to integrate with bones. Sometimes transplantation in the upper jaw can cause sinus problems. If you do not maintain enough oral hygiene, you can develop peri-implantitis or inflammation around the implant.

Aftercare and Recovery
Most people feel better within 7 to 10 days after the procedure. Full recovery usually takes 3 to 6 months. During the recovery process, you need to eat soft foods, smoke, and avoid alcohol and rinse your mouth as directed by your dentist. When it’s time to brush your teeth, you will be soft around the implant area.

How Do Implants Compare to Dentures and Bridges?
Dental implants are more stable and live longer than bridges and dentures. They are also more effective in preserving the jaw; If the jaw can be released from the missing teeth, the jaw is released, while oral structures are preserved with transplantation. Dental implants do not damage adjacent healthy teeth, while most bridges will require trimming of those adjacent teeth. Although dentures may appear to offer better value initially, they can slip and may not feel comfortable, and can take time to adjust. Overall, implants offer the best potential value on your investment and comfort.
Technology Used
Dantaa Dental Clinic employs cutting-edge technology to provide advanced patient care. We utilize 3D-guided implant surgery to place implants with safety and precision, plus immediate load implants for quicker and more efficient results. Our offerings also include metal-free zirconia implants for a natural appearance, and digital crowns made through CAD/CAM for a customized fit. Other available options include mini implants, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) for rapid healing, and “smart” implants with sensors (in early development).
